A very disappointing novel about a group of university kids who are in a Christian College, although this particular group of guys is not even Christian, so I don't know why they would want to be there in the first place. It basically chronicles their drinking sprees and the bands they like, the fights they get into, and the girls they chase. It goes back and forth from the present, to their college years when something bad happened while they were drunk. It also changes from first person to third person, depending on the time period. Since Jake doesn't remember who was responsible, the person who is, is not eager for him to remember, so there is some mystery and some danger. An on-again, off-again romance with a girl named Alyssa is the only nice part of the story.
