A basic book in the field
Neglected now, as older textbooks tend to be, this is a seminal book in the field. Mrs. DeLoach suffered severe polio (Iron lung, later severely handicapped); her husband was quadriplegic from a diving accident. Both went on to extremely successful careers, and she made a major professional study of the area. This book is essential for anyone working with the severely handicapped, or who has a family member in that group.
