Upon hearing Tali in these works of Erkki-Sven Tüür, one is more likely to conclude "Man! Can she ever conduct!" Tali's sense of where and how to project the sound is uncanny; her work in interpreting Tüür's complex and busy Zeitraum is reminiscent of the clarity and balance achieved by Leonard Bernstein in some of the tougher works of Charles Ives.
