This is a fantastic anthology of reviews concerning non-.existing books. Some people claim Lem wrote this book because he was too lazy to write all the books himself, so he just reviewed them.
The idea was later picked up by Wahlbrinck in "Nicht zu Fassen", comprising 26 German and 10 English reviews of books which also do not exist. Lem's reviews are a lot longer, but Wahlbrinck's also feature the imaginary book covers.
Both are a treat.
