Joints cracked, with some old repair work visible, some loss of leather at head of spine, otherwise sound. Volume II: xi, (i), 704, (43) pp, with one folding chart (of 2)--Lacking most of the Table of Exports. Front joint partially cracked. Ownership signatures in each volumes of Amos Slaymaker, a Revolutionary War veteran and member of ember of the U.S. House of Representatives from Pennsylvania. This edition includes 341 pages on the United States, in contrast to the thirty-nine pages of the fifth London edition. Evans 27077: "The American part of the work (pp. 206--588) was furnished, page by page, by Jedidiah Morse.
