Suspenseful and fast-paced
Although this book was written over 30 years ago, it is still a good, fast-paced read set in suburban England of the 1970s. If you like interesting, suspenseful plot lines and well-drawn characters with a little romance thrown in, you will enjoy this book. I have read two other books by this author, Anne Stevenson, and her writing style reminds me of Mary Stewart, but paced a bit faster.
