The second 1965 volume finds the folk-rock movement in full flower, with tracks from the Lovin' Spoonful, the Byrds, Jackie DeShannon, and the Seekers sitting next to pop/rock stalwarts from both America and Britain (the Supremes, the Beach Boys, Gerry & the Pacemakers, Freddie & the Dreamers).
