Seller's Description:
Very Good. Inscribed by Author(s) 1st Printing. pp. 127. Inscribed and signed on the title page by author and illustrator Cindy Ross. This is a true and moving account of Artist Cindy Ross's 2, 100 mile hike on the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine. Her odyssey spanned two years and brought hardships and joy she had not imagined would occur. She illustrated this book with 120 drawings. 127 pages. Very good with light wear around the extremities of the cover.
I liked this book so much, that I immediately bought a second copy for my own thru-hiker daughter. Ross writes this attractive small paperback book in her own handwriting and illustrates it herself with line drawings. But the main thing is that she writes topically, per experience, not per day or per mile. She was able to turn her feelings about the trail and hike into introspective but expressive accounts.
