Brown hardback (gilt lettering to the spine, some nicks, dents, marks and small tear on the cover and spine) in GC, no Dj cover as issued. Illustrated with 483 b/w drawings, diagrams. Clean pages with ink mark, small nicks and slightly tainted on the outer edges, the front cover has come loose from the spine, previous owner's inscription and date (1897) written inside the front endpaper, small foxing marks and creases on the edges of the pages. The book is in GC for its age with some shelf wear. 832pp including index part I and II. A collectable book. Heavy book (approx. 1.5 Kg).
