About the Author A native of Jamaica, New York, Kimberly McCrear-Himmons is a kindergarten teacher who has lived in Lilburn, Georgia since 1995. She holds a bachelor's degree in Linguistics and Communication, a master's degree in Reading and Literacy, and an endorsement in teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL). Kimberly has two children: William and Patrick. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, baking, reflexology, and hiking.
