Dear Malissa:
I read this book Many Years ago as a young Christian.
I Became a believer as a result of Spiritual insight that was given to me only by The spirit of God.. I hadn't even read the bible at that point. Your heart must be open to receive Him.. I prayed to Him one sad night: If you are really there then i want proof and help.. The very next day an old friend came to my house, Bible in hand and said i had a dream last night that I should come see you and speak to you about the truth of God's word!!! OMG! no pun intended.... If you ask Him to show you proof with all your heart, not mind.... then I truly believe he will reply some way, somehow... I read this book because i am in the Scientific community.. and was curious to see what Faid had to say.. If people can find flaws in the Bible as in this book then their mind is giving them a reason to disbelieve.. Your heart just isn't ready to accept. Just like if your heart isn't ready to commit to any relationship, you will find all sorts of reasons to reject it..Faid"s study of the Bible was extremely based upon the laws of Mathematical genius! Not His, however, but by a supernatural power.. no one could have put those books together as written, under one cover and have it mathematically come together! No human, no computer, no one period could have done this.. The numerical order of every word, verse and paragraph is lined up in a sequence that is not humanly possible to do.. Faid is a brilliant man and set out actually to try to disprove the Bible.. but found that it was a masterpiece way beyond human capacity!!
The things you spoke of that made you doubt even more, were very minor and you completely overlooked the truth... You cannot except the truth unless your heart is ready to be open to it...

Scientific Approch to Christianity
I bought this book hoping that it would that it would head off doubts relating to the reliability of the Gospel stories. I am sorry to say that instead of helping this book actually make my doubts worse. In the introduction Faid emphasises that his approach is "scientific" and that he searches for "hard proof". Yet instead of the rigorous examination he promises, the arguments that he presents are largely based on the naive assumption that the Gospels are reliable eye witness accounts. On page 13 he addresses this point, but he provides on real evidence to support his position. He completely ignores the possibility that the gospels could have been altered. Since all later arguments are based on the gospels, his failure to properly question this assumption invalidates the entire book. Many of the statements in the book are disturbingly misleading. For instance on page 12 we find the claim that over 4500 manuscripts of the New Testament have been found dating to 300AD or earlier. This claim is sadly false. There are 3 complete New Testament manuscripts which date to that period, and a few additional copies of individual books. A large number of FRAGMENTS have been found, but most of these contain less than a paragraph of text. The book contains many other bold claims about the historical evidence for Jesus however Faid offers no specific references to support his claims. Sadly my own research leads me to conclude that may of his statements are simply false. The sadist flaw in Faids logic is perhaps on page 9, where he argues that Mohammed's affirmation of the existence of Jesus is evidence that Jesus existed. If we believed that Muhammad was a true prophet, then we would have to believe that Christianity is mostly false. If on the other hand Mohammad was just an ordinary human being then, since Muhammad lived in 700AD, his views cannot possibly be relevant as historical evidence for Jesus. Thus Fiads argument here cannot be taken seriously regardless of ones views about Muhammad. I was shocked that some who calls himself a scientist would make such huge assumptions without properly questioning them. Then he based an entire book on those assumptions. As I said at the beginning this book greatly increased by doubts about the historical truth of Christianity.
