Though he has spent much of his career as an orchestral musician, Borok is fortunate to have an impressive arsenal of sound colors and delivers a brilliantly simple, refined, and clear sound throughout this album. His interpretations are sensitive without being cautious, energetic without being pompous, and elegant without being stuffy.
