A Reluctant Bride by Jody Hedlund is a love story that is based on the Bride ship that traveled from England to British Columbia in1862. As I read the book I could smell the smells, taste the food and see the sites described. The faith of both Mercy and Joseph grew on the voyage They learn to trust each other and God. I enjoyed this book so much that I will be sharing it with friends on mine.
