Full-leather boards with gilt decoration and five raised bands on spine, octavos, 437pp., 406pp., 437pp., and 599pp., not illustrated. Books have library plates on each front pastedown, no other library markings present; volumes two and three have some loss to title bands on spines, edgewear and rubbing to boards and spines, volume four has front board detached but present, corners worn, mild erasable pencil marks to endpapers, otherwise texts clean and unmarked, with gilt to top edges of blocks.
