This book covers all eras with a thorough look at both men and women's dress. It has been very helpful in my quest for accurate costuming.

Great beginners book
This is a great book for an overview of basic fashion throughout the world in history. The price is great for a book that is full of information. If you are just starting out this is a good place to start.
