If you're going to Mexico and you're planning on birding, this is the book you need. While it's over 10 years old, the information is still quite current. The illustrations are superb. My only criticism is that it is too big and heavy to actuqally serve as a "field" guide. Otherwise a great asset for any birder going to Mexico.
