The author is currently Professor Emeritus of the Duke University Divinity School, beginning his career as a graduate student in 1958 and joining the faculty full time in 1962. As an ordained Presbyterian (USA) minister, he has taught Greek and Bible studies to countless students and most denominations. He is the author of 13 books and more than 60 articles, primarily in the religious field. This is his Greek grammar for a more rapid approach by divinity students. It is also a great aid to those that are learning Hellenistic Greek from a New Testament interlinear translation but desire to grasp the grammar. Wanting such a grammar to use in his introductory New Testament Greek course, but finding none, Dr. Efird wrote this one.
