Although parents have the same desires today as in yesteryear, we do not live in Mason's world. We live in a digital age with information being offered everywhere all the time. Can parents return to Mason's wisdom and realistically apply it in this digital age? In this monograph, we offer a modern, practical interpretation of Charlotte Mason's ideas for 21st-century parents and teachers educating 21st-century children. We liken the creation of educational spaces for children to the construction of a house, with an intentional foundation, four cornerstones, and well-placed windows.
