And, adjoyninge to the est syde of the Counditt dour, ther did hing a bell to geve warning, at a leaven of the clock, for the Monncks to cumme wash and dyne, having ther closetts or almeries on either syde of the Frater House dour keapt alwaies with swete and clene towels, as is aforesaid, to drie ther hands. XLI. The Cloister. The Northe Alley. In the north syde of the Cloister, from the corner over against the Church dour to the corner over againste the Dorter dour, was all fynely glased, from the hight to the sole within a litle of the grownd into the Cloister garth.
