'if he begins-4 his preface' by two pages of acknowledged quotation from Dr. Price, it is not understood that, the two next pages, which stand without acknowledgment, are secretly'tx'anscribed from Collins. If he marks one-paragraph in, a Chapter, with-inverted commas; and inserts 'sa'.ys Dr. Priestley'* in the beginning, it is not understood that the whole chapter is nevertheless copied from Dr. Priestley.
