The economy of the nation and indeed the entire world is being impacted for better or worse by the manner in which we respond to fears arising from human-induced carbon dioxide emissions into the atmosphere. We need assurance that valuable natural resources are not abandoned without appropriate and certain benefits to mankind. We cannot get that assurance unless we probe deeply and objectively into claims of global warming and its dire consequences.
