Despite their best efforts, the Confederates are losing and they know it. Borne out of desperation, members of the rebel government develop a plot to assassinate Abraham Lincoln, hoping that such an act might help turn things around. Against the orders of Confederate President, Jefferson Davis, the deadly plot is set into motion when a trio of hired killers are summoned from Canada to carry out the assassination.
