Breas, son of Ealahanj son of Neid, son of Indy, son of Allay, reigned seven years in Ireland. Looee Longhand, son of Dianceacht, son of EasargBfac, son of Neid, son of Indy reigned king of Ireland forty years. This prince first ordained the assembly or fair of Taking in annual commemoration of Take, daughter of Mavore, king of Spain, who was wife to Eohy, son of Earc, the last king of the Bologues, and was afterwards married to Eohy the Roughj son of Duachdallj a chieftain of theThuhaDedannan;byher Looee Longhand was taken care of arid educated, until he became fit to bear armsj and in commemoration and honor of her name he established games at the fair of Taltin, which were observed for a Fortnight before and a fortnight after Lammas, in imi t.ition of the Olympic games; frorh this commemoration' the calends of August are stiled Loonasa, i. e. the nasa or commemoration of Looee; on which day is now celebrated the feast of St. Peter's chains. Daglida the great, son of Dalway, son of Neid; reigned seventy years; he died at Bru of the wounds he received from darts thrown at him by Ceihlen, in the battle of Moy Tury, Eohy Ollahar was his proper name.
