Good work which covers the eighteenth century in Britain very well. All chapters well written. Hard to pick out specific areas, but I did particularly enjoy Ch. 7 The Jacobite Movement by Szechi, Ch. 14 The Labouring Poor, Ch. 21. Religion in Ireland, and Ch. 26 Popular Culture.
Well worth price and a very good introduction for the non-historian (like myself) to this period
