This book is one of Stephanie's safer books. It involved a jaded man who felt as though he was being tricked into loving the neice of his step mother. The neice wanting to marry him was trying to show him that she would be a good wife to him in name only but he soon discovered he wanted more. The story itself was okay and sometimes hard to follow. This book lacked the passion and heat that usually come with a book from Mrs. Laurens but for people who don't care for passionate intervals in a book, this one's for you.
