Volumes 1 and 2 complete. 1st edition. 8vo, bound in the original grey boards with green cloth spines and stuck on labels, as first published. The covers are rubbed and worn, and there is some splitting to the spines but the bindings are tight. Internally very clean. There is a tear across p. 719/720 but with no loss. Volume 2 lacks the frontis view of Derby. Ex-library books, but the only library marks are on the front free endpapers of each volume, and a small stuck on label at the bottom of each spine.
