Interesting stories
This was a very interesting look into the investigations of illicit whiskey being made all over Georgia and parts of Tennesse in the time of the 1950's until the early 1970's. The writer was an ATF man involved in these times and has many interesting tales and anecdotes about the time period. He also relates how the agents had to think on their feet to get the job done, this would be an interesting book for anyone interested in the history of moonshine or law enforcement and investigations in America. The story is told in a straightforward manner, without any fluff. Included are pictures of captured bootlegging cars and images of various types of stills that were raided and destroyed. Also covered is the beginning of the use of aircraft for the use of detecting stills or using planes to follow suspects from a distance.
