70's Pop Hits follows the usual tack of budget-line collections, grabbing a slate of oft-licensed tracks from the decade to fill out its three discs. This doesn't make it bad, by any means -- indeed, "Lowdown" from Boz Scaggs, Earth, Wind & Fire's "Shining Star," and the rollicking novelty of Dr. Hook's "Cover of the Rolling Stone" are just a few of the pop hits filling out this '70s set.
