In the latest publication from Daughters of Distinction, "Seven Ingredients to an Effective Prayer Life (Volumes Three through Five)," the contributors seamlessly take readers on a journey of the continual process of sanctification in God's eyes. The writers provide plenty of scriptural evidence, for the lasting fruit that a prayer life rooted firmly in repentance, righteousness, and holiness yields. Beginning with the practice of repentance as phase one of living a lifestyle pleasing to the Lord; contributors have masterfully illustrated their own unique experiences with what can best be described as a 'pouring out' of all that is and has become unfruitful in each of our lives. In volume four, participants are motivated to live a life of righteousness before God and each other. Clearly, each of the authors in this volume, recognize that over time believers can grow "weary in well doing," and the overarching theme in each writing is simply this - "Do not give up!" The writers are able to empathize with the readers by providing at times personal testimonies of the vicissitudes of life. In the final volume, contributors tackle the subject of holiness. It is clear that an effective prayer life systematically built on the consistent application of repentance and righteousness will yield a lifestyle of perfected holiness. As Christian believers our declaration that there is no God like our God, should compel each of us to strive to be just like Him. With personal accounts of lives transformed by a consistent prayer life and a fervent and active pursuit of the holiness of God, the writers entice readers to join them in their pursuit to please the Lord. In summation this amalgamation of writings from some of the Kingdom's finest writers leaves its readers with the following statement of truth, "To err is human, but to REPENT is both RIGHTEOUS and HOLY before our God!"
