Occasionally there are accidents and then help is urgently needed, usually in bad weather. To the rescue comes Mountain Rescue volunteers, often the only ones trained and equipped to reach those in trouble. Lynn's 58 years of volunteering in mountain rescue include many wonderful and sometimes hair-raising missions. He's rescued the lost and injured from cliffs and ravines, administered life saving I.V.'s in the field, led mass mountain climbs and recovered bodies of loved ones. All this and more are contained within these covers, a reading adventure to the high peaks and a world of rescues. Lynn lives in Yakima, Washington, with his wife Connie. Both Lynn and Connie are retired members of Seattle Mountain Rescue and Central Washington Mountain Rescue; National Mountain Rescue Association teams.
