Elsewhere, the songs are taken into more esoteric territory (Razed in Black's revved-up "Disintegration," Test Infection's deconstructed "A Night Like This"), but for the most part, many of these treatments -- which generally go for a "harder, faster" aesthetic -- simply lack the dark power of the original versions.
