High color quality and clear printing show each of these intimate, personal views clearly at close to their original size, so the reader is viewing the paintings as they were meant to be seen: in hand, up close and personal. Each is accompanied by a facing page of artist notes. The images are of corner glimpses of the vernacular architecture that is so much a part the daily life and psyche of Los Angeles. Incorporated into the images are specific local wildlife and plants, adding an element of Haiku to the Japanese-Woodblock inspired theme. A Must-Have for anyone enchanted by L.A.
