Surprising fun!
Tom Selleck plays a writer with writer's block; after many successful mysteries, he's out of ideas------until he spots a gorgeous woman accused of using a pair of scissors to murder one of her own countrymen and just can't believe she did it.
So he hatches a plan to help her, find out more of her history, and help himself write a new book--all at the same time. He becomes her alibi, brings her home, and uses the unexpected and hilarious things that happen as the basis for his creative novel.
What he doesn't expect is just how involved he will become in a real story that is far more lethal than he ever dreamed.
It's exciting and amusing, which I think is a great combination.
