Daher setzt sich der Band zum Ziel, interkulturelle Probleme der �bersetzung, des �bersetzens, der �bersetzerausbildung, der translatorischen Theorie und Praxis insgesamt in ihrem ganzen Facettenreichtum zum Gegenstand der Diskussion zu machen und aus den unterschiedlichsten Perspektiven zu beleuchten.
