This is a big thick book filled with information on the snakes of the described area.This is much more than a field guide as the descriptions for each snake are long and detailed and very accurate.Of course all of the snakes have range maps plus natural history information.The author writes in an interesting manner and holds your attention.All of the color pictures are in the center of the book.The pictures could be larger but will do.For any price I think it is the best book available.
