Seller's Description:
Near Fine in Very Good jacket. Inscribed and Signed By the Author 641 pages. Presentation inscription from the author to Capt. Leo Roberts, SC, USN (1916-1996, and whose papers are now held at the Harry S. Truman Library). Three additional paragraphs presenting this book from Leo Roberts to his brother Keith Roberts. There is a moderate amount of marginalia and some underlining, in the hand of Leo Roberts, who is included in the book, and appears to have contributed information used by the author. Although some of the notes are of a personal nature (i.e. "I dated his daughter, " the majority are of a scholarly/historical nature providing additional facts and details. Volume is otherwise tight and fairly clean, with only a couple of very small and light smudges/stains. Dust jacket remains very clean, though shows a little very light wear over head of spine. Jacket is now protected in a clear mylar sleeve.
