Sloppy Editing
This book is the first in the NCIS series by Mel Odom. It introduces the dedicated agents of Will Coburn's team; a mixture of military and non-military people. A few are believers, others are not. Some have serious problems like alcoholism or dysfunctional relationships. The story line is good, witha nice mix of science, policing, and military takedowns. The story moves across the globe. Some of the characters are more likeable than others, but real life is like that, too. There were a few things the proofreader missed, like a word-for-word description of Nita's husband, twice, and two records of a "first meeting" of two of the main characters in two different places, with the same dialogue exhchanged. That was just sloppy.
