Every once in a while I find a book that I am grateful and lucky to have read. "Trilateralism" is one of those books.
It is about 200 pages longer than it should be, but the information in it is really incredible. I know why many people think that people trying to control the world is tin-hat stuff, but it's a dream that never dies. The new format is essentially to stop trying to conquer by force, but to conquer by legislation designed to facilitate business only. "As long as they're not starving, they won't riot. And we can continue to exploit labor."
The book was written in 1980, when trilateralism was new, but not much has really changed. If anything, the plan is moving ahead right on schedule. Interestingly, trilateralism is "North America" (Japan, North America and Western Europe), and not "the United States." So we can expect one day for the trilateralists to "unify North America" someday the way they did it to Europe.
