Part Two, which details information on growing the plant, is neatly arranged in sections according to the type of plant. These descriptions are casual, to the point, and often humorous. A keeper
This book has good info on plants to use in shady spots. Even better, the author tells how to move established shrubs and plants to make a better planting. And best of all is his diagram of how to prune -- no one has ever made it seem so simple and doable.
