Richmond Burns
I have read several books written by these authors, and this one is typical. It reads quickly and tells the
story in a series of first person accounts.
The Day Richmond Died is the story of the fall of
the Confederate capital and the fire that followed it
and destroyed part of the city. It's entertaining and
informative ..... a good historical description of
April 2, 1865, as Union forces entered the city and
the Civil War moved toward its end.
