This is the second book of the Bromeliad Trilogy.
The 4 in. gnomes have left the store, and are living outside in a quarry. This book follows the trials and tribulations of the gnomes when it is discovered that the quarry is about to be reopened.
I like Terry Pratchett and I like 4 in. gnomes. This is written for the younger reader, or so I believe.
