Nice quality book

I have not read the entire book yet but it reads well and has answers to end of chapter problems so that you can check yourself.

Check the Edition
Callister is a good introduction to Materials Science. Just make sure you get the correct edition if you are buying it for a class. The cover shown is for the 7th edition (which is the current edition), but the edition you are buying is the 5th edition.
