A marked improvement on the last two Foundation novels. Reading this, one can almost forget that Earth and Prelude ever happened. It's not nearly as good as the original trilogy, but it is somewhat interesting. It also answers a few questions, like how the Second Foundation came to be (although the answer to that question is rather difficult to swallow for a variety of reasons).
