Seller's Description:
Very good in very good dust jacket. Glued binding. Paper over boards. With dust jacket. 323 p. Chief Inspector Wexford Mysteries (Hardcover). Audience: General/trade. This book is in near fine condition; the spine is straight, the binding is tight, it is unmarked and the pages are pristine. It is NOT an ex-library book.
The book is badly written. I found I had to read some paragraphs a second time to clarify the meaning and sometimes, probably due to careless syntax, the opposite meaning to what was intended was conveyed. The plot was not always consistent which was probably due to the careless writing mentioned above. It was an enjoyable light read, but I will not be reading Ruth Rendell again.
