Along with familiar images (the crouching Creator with outstretched compass) there are rarities, such as the illustration for "Ode on the Death of a Favorite Cat, " by Thomas Gray--humanoid fish tempt a humanoid cat into a veritable ocean. Binding firm; deep blue boards with still bright gilt lettering have minimal wear, well-protected by pictorial d.j. without discernible edge wear, but with some faint smudging on back panel. 9" x 11".
