Seller's Description:
Very Good in Near Fine jacket. First edition. Slightly cocked with accompanying waviness along the spine, a tiny abrasion on the front paste down and bumped corner, about near fine in about near fine dustwrapper with a touch of wear at the heel of the spine and wrinkling along the bottom front edge. Signed by the DeMille. The true first edition of this scarce title, a thriller co-written with Block, a pilot and DeMille's childhood friend. DeMille's co-authorship was originally unattributed, and the book club edition (lacking a priced jacket as this has) is sometimes mistakenly offered as a first edition. Very likely the most difficult DeMille book to obtain, particularly in this condition and signed. Although not marked in any way, this copy is from the distinguished modern first edition collection of Bruce Kahn.
