Yukiko was born in Durham, N.C., and briefly moved back to Japan for two years before settling down in Chapel Hill, N.C. When Yukiko is not in school, she loves to coach and play volleyball, run, and cuddle with her family dogs, Hana and Benji. At the time this book was published, Cynthia Liu was a student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she studied Media and Journalism (Visual Journalism focus) with minors in English in French. Cynthia was born in Morrisville, N.C., and spent part of her childhood in Tianjin, China, in her grandparents' 6th floor apartment. Besides taking pictures, Cynthia enjoys writing, road trips, and sitting in coffee shops.
