Ylva Lindberg is professor of Education, specialized in Language and Literature, at Jönköping University, School of Education and Communication, Sweden. She is the director of the national research school CuEEd-LL - Culturally Empowering Education through Language and Literature, financed by the Swedish Research Council and including five universities. Her literary research is focused on minoritized literature, specifically literature with Sub-Saharan origins, and comic art. Mediation and reception of literature in changing cultural and technological contexts frame her literary studies. In addition, she explores technological innovation in the learning of languages and literatures in a monograph in French,, De la Belle époque à Second Life, and in a co-edited anthology in English, Virtual Sites as Learning Spaces.Lindberg sits on the board of the GRADE consortium, which has a research focus on digitalization and learning and runs three national research schools in the area. Spécialiste de la littérature francophone de l'Afrique subsaharienne et de la bande-dessinée suédoise et francophone, elle a exploré la médiation et la réception de la littérature dans des contextes culturels et technologique en transformation.
