Valentina Carboni was born in Trieste on June 21st, 1974. Lover of knowledge and childhood, she got a secondary school diploma with specialisation in teacher training at the Trieste State Institute Duca D'Aosta in 1993. She then graduated in Psychological and Technic Sciences (Class 34) at the University of Trieste, and also got a Master Degree in Developmental Psychology on 2009. Then she did for a year a professional training in psychology at the Health Services of Trieste (District 3 SS for Protection and Health of Children and Teenagers). Then she obtained the license to practice, passing the State Examination. As for the work, she served at the Court of Law in Trieste, later she teached Italian, History and Geography at the International School of Trieste and then was hired by the municipality of Trieste as a teacher. In 2004 she got the certificate of merit from the Ministry of Justice during her participation in the 152nd course. She attended the congress about Learning Styles at the International School of Trieste as well as the ad hoc Conference of Directors of Prison Administration and services for Alternative Measures in Rome. Animal lover, in particular dogs, she started a study of the dog psychology arranging a sort of conferences regarding the mental factors that drive the behavior of dogs. In 2010 she became interested in sport and in particular to all the mental and psychological factors that are involved in sport performance, understanding how you can guide the athletes, the children and in general all the growth and personal development as well as to develop an inner character condition of well-being and health to guide them during the entire span of life. Aware that it's not possible to understand the psychophysical difficulties and rewards of an athlete without living sport, she attended a Master in Functional Training in March 2013.
