Thomas Wolfe
Thomas Wolfe (1900- 1938), American writer, was one of the first masters of autobiographical fiction. Revered by William Faulkner, he had a strong influence on Jack Kerouac, Ray Bradbury, and Philip Roth. His best known works include Look Homeward, Angel (1929), Of Time and the River (1935), The Web and The Rock (1939), You Can't Go Home Again (1940). He visited the Munich Oktoberfest in 1927.
